Pandacorn

Facebook can actually lead to some work.  A friend of mine saw a post from a band looking for an illustrator and recommended me. Connections were made, art and commerce followed!  They were looking for a half panda / half unicorn hybrid.  My original take was to try something a bit more serious and aggressive.  It just didn’t feel right, so I tried out the strange beast you see above.  The client was happy with this guy, as was I.

I enjoy working with musicians.  There’s a kind of kinship between artists of any form, I find.  Sometimes.  Usually.  Definitely in this case, though.  Their music is awesome, too.  Take a listen (the music doesn’t kick in for a few seconds, be patient):
